Blastoidea If it is Motorola (I have no more inside knowledge beyond what is stated in this forum) I'm more optimistic.
From about 2019 or 2020, I had a Motorola phone (a Moto G8 Play, if it matters). It was sold as a mid range phone (not a flagship) but was good value for money. My only minor grumble is that OS updates ran out - as advertised when it was released - in late 2022 (so was upgraded from Android 9 to Android 11 before updates dried up) and that updates were relatively slow compared with Google at the time. The device itself is still going strong - I run it with no SIM now, as basically a game/entertainment machine, with nothing on it that gives me any privacy or security concern.
Motorola has also reportedly invested significantly (billions) in the last 10 years or so (with both acquisitions, and R&D) to improve their capabilities related to security and safety related technologies. On the face of it, that suggests a collaboration with GOS would be a good fit.
Whichever OEM it is, I'll look available specifications for the device (or, hopefully devices) available when I am ready to upgrade. The requirements documented for GOS are quite rigorous and I view it as a positive that an OEM would aim to collaborate with GOS.
