Secondary profile limitation

Hello.
I've just created a secondary profile. The owner was connected to a wifi before switching. Now I want to disconnect from this specific wifi, and am not being allowed. I can only disable wifi completely, which leads to disabled wifi to a owner profile as well.
May I ask, what is the point if this disconnection of wifi specifically, prohibition?

With RethinkDNS intalled in both the secondary and Owner profiles, you get to block WiFi connections for the secondary user, apart from Owner that has its own settings.

Novalissoide I'll keep this in mind, but this is not what I need.
I need to have my wifi on and not connected to any network. On bare profile.

go to settings->network and internet->internet

Under "wifi" the connected wifi should be listed,
long press on it "disconnect" should appear, click on it

(dont click on the settings symbol)

is this what you mean, or what do you mean?

dhhdjbd yes, I could disconnect this way, but it disconnected the owner profile wifi as well 🤦‍♂️

i mean there is no per profile wifi connection,
and you can not be connected to more then one wifi

If this is what you are looking for ?

wifi is os level stuff,
multiple wifi is most likely not even supported by the driver, and n-wifi networks are also a hardware limited problem as far as i know

dhhdjbd well, not to connect to a network for a profile would be a nice option, because from the very moment profile is active, netwok starts blasting all sorts of data.

alternatively you can use any vpn, use always on and block connections without vpn, and then just disconnect it, which does the same thing

But sure a "network permission" profile toggle would be nice, like a install toggle, i guess

What I do re. that is to create a VPN in that profile, set the Always-on and Block connections w/o VPN.

dhhdjbd i know all this and am absolutely confident with apps and features. My point is clean new user with no other than basic apps and settings - created a user, switched to it - 2 minute job, and not all those app installs, separate settings and jerking around for an hour.

you could disable each apps internet permission,

anyway what you are looking for does not exist you have to use a workaround
