Payment app not working but the bank's online banking app is

Switzerland, bank is BCV. Online banking app works on both Pixel 7 and Pixel 8. There is a payment system called twint which doesn't go through visa/master, is national. Each bank puts out its own implementation of that. BCV twint works on P7 but a P8 does not even get the option, from the google playstore, to download it.

What can I do?

You could try transferring the apk file from your p7 to the p8 to install it.

App developers and google play can restrict app downloads to certain phone requirements. Strange there's no download option. Is there an error message such as: this app isn't available in your region?

Johnnyloans the playstore just says "this phone is not compatible with this app"
where on the phone 7 do i find the apk file?

Johnnyloans when i go to the folders app and search the phone for .apk, only 4 results come up. 2 i can see are an i use (2 versions, it seems, probably an update). 2 i cannot see from the name what they are
