Does anyone use TorVPN? I thought this was a good video about it:

If you do, are there any special configurations you have? I feel like there will be a good way to optimize its use in conjunction with GOS, e.g. disabling its connection for some system apps

I usw Orbot and the only change I made to its settings was turning on isolation of destination addresses

littlerack yeah. My guess is it will remain in beta for awhile. Im happy they pushed it out though.

I rely on Tor, and its services and use it within Tails on a daily basis, almost exclusively for years.
I tried the Tor VPN, but on a second laptop and it worked perfectly.
However I take the warning its in Beta and should not be relied upon seriously.
I await its launch.
Hopefully, it will not be as big a power hog like Orbot is.

yep, in a separate profile, where are no google services enabled or any non-foss apps. It works great, speed is in level to watch YT videos in FHD without problems 85% of the time. But, as devs are saying, it is in beta, so no dark deals and private things while in beta.
There also built in bridges, and even a bot, that gives you new bridges here and now. that's so cool
