Cape is the only option for a generally usable phone number and mobile data plan.
If a provider doesn't control the mobile core than basically all of their privacy and security claims are a joke as whoever does (T-Mobile, ATT, Verizon) has full access to basically everything and they will still sell it all. And Cape is the only MVMO running their own core.
You can sign up with zero PII provided and pay with a prepaid Visa debit card. ToS wise, Cape promises not to sell or share anything absent a US court order.
You get Sim swap and ss7 protection. You also get a rotating IMSI number which defeats a lot of the data mining that the tower owners do. And get two free alternative numbers (text only for the moment) to use for 2fa codes or "provide a real number" checks.
If you have specific questions and/or want a discount code for $10 off per month for Cape, feel free to reach out via the SimpleX link in my profile.
