RCS Connecting

I decided to take the plunge and bought a pixel off eBay. Now I'm not fully off Google but like the idea of more control over what they get so I do still want rcs and lots of people here said it was no problem. Installed my esims and all permissions but it still just says connecting. I have play store, carrier services, and play services

yenilley Hi and welcome. Here's the official documentation on RCS and a workaround that's needed in some cases. If this doesn't help, please state your carrier, phone model, and GrapheneOS version, so others with similar configuration could chime in.

thmf thanks for this! Unfortunately it didn't allow it to connect. I didn't do this before so what I did was turn off RCS. Then enable the special permissions, uninstalled and reinstalled messages. And it still says connecting

I have US Mobile, ATT, TMobile, Pixel 10 Pro, most recent release of Graphene since I just installed. Not sure how to see the version on the phone tbh

You're doing all of this with google messages in the owner profile?
Reboot the phone.

Go to Phone Settings - > About phone -> scroll all the way down and you'll see Build number.
