Login sccreen AND lockscreen shown at startup

Hi,

sometimes, at start-up, my Pixel 6a shows the lockscreen (date/time and shortcuts) under the PIN code screen. I enter my PIN code and the PIN code screen disappear and the lockscreen remains as normal.
I search for others discussions but didn't find.

jmo did you notice the SIM card icon above the PIN numbers?

I believe what you are looking at is the SIM PIN entry screen which appears when you have setup a PIN code to lock the usage of the SIM card.

Do you have a physical SIM? And if yes, have you tried taking it out of your phone, rebooting, and seeing if this SIM PIN screen has disappeared?

Yes, it is at startup, so it is the SIM PIN entry screen, which is normal at that time. It's the lockscreen (date/time and shortcuts) under it that shouldn't be visible.

I have a physical SIM card but the display bug do not appears at every start up, so it's hard to test. I can't remove the SIM card for now, I'll try this later.

jmo got it. I believe the conclusion from the thread you linked above is that it is an upstream bug.
