Background apps restarting

I need some help on app restarting automatically

I want to keep running a certain app on the background, even if my screen is off. So far I've disabled "suspend execution for cached apps", turned the battery manager of this app to unlimited, and disabled the Graphene's Exploit Protection, but to no avail.

The app is OSRS, earlier this app just logged me out without the suspended cache option, but now the app restarts, reloading the entire app after 5 minutes (either while the app was on the background or when the screen was off). The app works just fine while running on the foreground. I've read into most options, but haven't found anything that may adress this issue...

Is there any option to extend the running time in the background from 5 minutes, to say... 15 minutes, or perhaps permanent if that is not an option?

The game logs you out after a period of inactivity and maybe they programmed in a feature of clearing RAM after you log out?

Or you are doing other activities in the foreground, your phone needs more ram and decides osrs gets the cut.

That is true, but I've set the limit to 15 minutes. As I said, on the foreground this does not happen. Ive seen it with other apps too.

I don't think it's ram, because when I've closed other apps, and only OSRS is running, and I turn off my screen, the same happens, and only after 5 minutes, which seems to be the longest time the system will hold it's memory on background processes...

Not sure how things are set in gos or aosp. Android does have background usage rules that can supersede unrestricted background usage. Samsung is notorious for cutting down background apps. Again, not sure if gos does this.

See if osrs stops working with the phone plugged in to a charger and osrs is in the foreground when the screen is turned off.

Okay, I see...
I've tried to run OSRS on the foreground while on the charger, but the same things happens without a charger. Once I unlock the screen after 5 minutes with the screen turned off, the phone opens to the home screen, and selecting OSRS in the open tabs reloads the app.
