Feature request. Private spaced timed autolock options

Please, more options for the timed autolock of private space. There is only one option, 5 minutes. We could have 1 hour, 6 hours etc. Or better still user defined.

This is true but not if you set a different lock for Private space than the device lockscreen.
If you go Settings > Security and privacy > Private space > Private space lock

set a new lock for just the Private space, then the options goes: https://imgur.com/a/QZFJfD0

Still not fully free, but there's a difference between 5m, and 30m.😉

I may be needed to alter
Settings > Security and privacy > Private space > Lock private space automatically

to 'Only after restarts', for this to work.

Hi thanks for the reply. I agree 30 mins is better than 5 and actually probably meets my needs. However I think what you have proposed will result in the main profile locking after 30 mins and the private space staying unlocked until the device is restarted?

Actually oddly private space does seem to require unlock authorisation after the main profile locks/unlocks but it hasn't been locked properly because the session is still active.

In any case I don't want my main profile to remain unlocked for 30 mins. The whole point of the timeout setting is to allow the user to customise the delay so why so few options?

It's not a GrapheneOS but an upstream thing, see:

GrapheneOS already implemented extra features. For example adding new settings for disabling delayed locking of storage, settings for blocking sharing clipboard, add support for Installing available apps and support for Private Space in secondary user profiles.

Murcielago I see, these are the options determined by Google, it seems very odd that they would offer different config options for private space. I shall message Google about this instead!
