Zenith39 My question is with something like KeepassDX would it be best to run different databases for each account? So only the banking profile has my banking passwords let’s say? If so is there easy ways to pass the information for shared services? Would a different solution be better to manage passwords? Or would it be best to just have a big database and sync it to all profiles?
I would maybe use one core database for things you need personally and add 1-2 other databases for other use-cases. I would probably split personal accounts from business accounts at least, maybe a decoy one that has a photo and therefore has a large file size.
Inside the personal database, I make categories based on which device the accounts belong to, to not accidentally login with a wrong Google Account on GOS etc.
I only edit the main database on my laptop, to not run into syncing issues or accidentally overwriting a database that had a new account included. Then share it via cloud and USB to others. I do not like to rely on Syncthing too much.
Also use keyfiles etc. and backing up databases at certain intervals.
