Auto brightness problems

Hey, I recently switched over from my broken 6a to a 9a, both with GOS. I never had problems with my p6a's auto brightness, but my p9a is behaving strangely. It's often too dim and reacts slowly to brighter light and I can often see it dim the screen down while nothing changes light wise. In a few occasions it's too bright for no reason.
Is there a way to reset this? I know it's usually done within the Device Health Services, but that's not present in GOS. So what service handles the auto brightness? Has anyone had the same problems with a p9a?

Came to here to post about a similar issue I've been having with my p9a as well. I actually have auto brightness disabled and still have the issue you described where the screen will randomly go dim. I am pretty sure this is due to thermal throttling. I installed Devcheck and went to the temperatures tab. It has a section where you can see when the device goes from Normal to Light throttling, and that's the exact moment the screen goes dim. I don't know if this is a specific issue to the 9a or what but I haven't seen anyone else mention it. I'm curious if you're able to confirm that this is a throttling issue on your p9a because it's been pretty annoying to deal with.
