I have installed the Google Messages App to try out the RCS feature on my Phone.
Some days later now Google Gemini opened a chat and obviously was installed silently in the background, because after first install there was no Gemini in the messages app settings.
I blocked the chat (and marked it as Spam) and in the settings I disabled the button for Gemini.
My question now is, is Gemini still active in the Messages app, and is Google now using all my messages for AI training?
If so, RCS isn't worth the cost and I would uninstall it again.
