Any difference in security between the Pixel 9 and the Pixel 10?

In terms of hardware security, is there any difference between the P9 and the P10? I would rather save some money and get the P9. I don't care about the difference between BT5.3 and BT6.0. Memory tagging is huge and my understanding is that the P9 has it.

Just a heads up on cost, if you were planning on buying a brand new device, Google Store and local stores in my region that follow their pricing lead, are actually selling Pixel 10 for less than the Pixel 9 at the moment

Google claimed they've hardened the Pixel 10 further, but they never specified and no one has ever figured out how they hardened it. So take it with a grain of salt.

If the Pixel 9 is significantly cheaper I'd go for that instead.

Nothing definitive in that thread, and I don't see any public announcements either. It makes me think the security is going to be about the same. I wish GOS would publicly address this.

Why does 4G have a lower surface attack area compared to 5G? I'm sort of surprised that 4G is less secure than 5G. 4G LTE is scheduled to be phased out in the US in the early 2030s. 5G will only become more mainstream over time. 6G will be standardized before the end of this decade.
