quaff I would be very happy! I have installed the update but can't find the toggle in question so I cannot confirm it works.

Johnnyloans Found it, thank you! I didn't even know that section existed, admittedly. I've turned it on and then switched on RCS, it says "connecting". I'll report back.

Johnnyloans OMG! The ICC toggle also allows Google's "Find Phone" to work. It can finally remote lock (although it does crash Play services).

No dice... Same issue as before with T-Mobile. It was worth a shot, I appreciate the effort from the GrapheneOS team.

I forgot the recommended steps from the large RCS thread. It's something along the lines of: airplane mode, messages > clear cache and storage, reboot, open messages, wait up to 30 min

I've seen several others report it working for at&t or tmobile outside of the US. You're the first i've heard try it on tmobile inside the usa

I was able to get RCS activated on T-Mobile (USA) with the following.

Enabling Phone and SMS permissions on the Sandboxed Google Play Services
Allowing ICC authentication
Airplane mode, messages > clear cache and storage, reboot, open Messages

RCS activated within a few minutes.

Pixel 10 Pro XL on build 2026021200 with Messages installed from Google Play Store, no downgrade workaround required.

It allows talking directly to the sim card.

The app can directly ask your carrier to confirm what your phone number is. Now that it knows you're not stealing someone else's phone number, you can get rcs texts for the number.

Johnnyloans I did beta build and it auto updated. Says I am on 2026011201. I didn't change back to stable, must have missed that step. So you're saying I need to change my release channel back to "Stable"? and then update again?
