Placing the device inside a Faraday bag in order to provide protection from remote wipe operations is contemplated in almost almost every mobile data forensics SOP first steps.
It would be nice to have an option that if HTTPS connectivity fails for some interval (30 sec, 1-2-5-30-60 min) it triggers the AOSP lockdown state (disabling bio-metrics) or the auto-reboot, so the device also goes into the more resilient BFU state.
If there is interest in this feature, I am ready to begin working on the actual implementation and will post the git fork link.
