Add Notification when you are about to get forced to enter your password

If you don't enter your device password for 72 hours and always unlock with fingerprint, the device will force you to enter your password.

It would be nice to get a notification 12-16 before the 72 hours a full so you can enter your password in a safe place to prevent the forcing of it in a situation where you don't want to enter your password, like in public transport and/or under CCTV surveillance.

Zayne Good suggestion but dont think team will prioritize this because the resources are limited and they have lots of higher priority task in their list. you can always enter the password manually every day before you sleep to avoid it typing in public transport and/or under CCTV surveillance.

Great suggestions already here.

At anytime, you can swipe up in the lock screen to enter your code before any public event or set a reminder for yourself if you need it.

The security feature is great for areas that can force an unlock with biometrics.

I constantly get this shit after i scan all my groceries at self service and pull my phone to scan sub card and pay. I HAVE TO ENTER MY PHUCKING CODE UNDER CAMERAS SURROUNDING ME every time and have no other choice. This is a stupid shit and it mus be removed from android. ASAP

I always put my primary unlock method at fist touch of my phone when I get up in the morning.
After 2-3 days you'll get to that routine and you'll never have the problem described above.
Just my opinion. Don't judge me. 🙂

Why would I even have to bother thinking whether I'm going to be in public and need to enter the code prior that or thinking 'hmm did I enter it already today or not? '

I think the feature is so that people don't forget their PIN/password.
Because when the 72 hours are not up, it doesn't do any extra protection
