using multiple SIM cards on GOS

i am looking into getting a pixel and running GOS. i would have 2 sim cards, 1 physical for texts/calls and data and another esim with no number attached (data only).

i was wondering if it would be possible to have the esim provide data to a specific profile, while my physical sim provides data for the "Owner" profile. preferably automatically and not need to manually enable/disable each sim card when i switch profiles.

i believe it is not possible to have multiple sim calls for texts/calls which is not a problem for me as the esim would only be for data.

Vilebob No, there is no such feature to choose specific sim card using data on specific profiles. You can use a vpn on those profiles and set a default server if you are concerned about IP.

It's possible to have multiple sim calls/texts on Android. For example, the default GrapheneOS Phone app can be setup to ask you which sim to use every time you place a call/text. You can also set which sim to use by default. It's in Phone app -> Three dots menu -> Settings -> Calling Accounts.
