Turtacular GOS saved me from a severe bug!!
On stockOS my pixel had a chance about ½ to ⅔ chance to go into a bootloop (boots normal, I start entering my Password and it restarted) that only ended after about 5 to 10 manual reboots.
Therefore I always had to make sure to have enough battery because turning it off would be too risky if I eg. I was asked for my ticket in a train and would have to explain that I have to restart my phone 10 times to show them the QR code (German national ticket is only available in digital form)
After contacting Google they recommend a fresh install which I did...the bug stayed and after contacting them again they gaslighted me that the bug doesn't exist but I could send in my phone for repair (400€)
