Yubikey Not Working

Hello! I am tried a few things based on other posts I have seen regarding this issue but I have not been able to resolve it. My Yubikey was working at one point and now it does not.

I am trying to login to my Proton account but I get the following error below. I have tried both NFC and via USB-C. This error also appears before I input the YubiKey.

Running all updated versions of GOS and Protonmail

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

The Proton Mail app? Then you need to install sandboxed Google Play and give both Play services and Play Store network access.

For what it is worth I have never been able to get my Yubikey to work on my 8A (other than the Yubico app). But I do use it on my Proton account on my PC and it works perfectly. Don't feel bad, my bank still wants us to do SMS messages for verification.

While I haven't explored it deeper, I had trouble with NFC and USB reading my Yubikey as well. Mine is an older Yubikey Neo not the more recent ones.

my Yubikey 5Ci works fine on my 9a as does the Yubico Authenticator app

What I can say is that Yubikey only works with the owner profile. With second profiles, I had to use 6 digit code... also with Proton mail. Pixel 9a.
