Unable to add "Personal" folder to app in Private Space with Storage Scopes

I could be doing this wrong so please correct me but, when I try to add the folder it gives an error "Unknown Scope". I am trying it with both Gallery installed with Obtainium and Aves Gallery Libre installed with Accrescent. It happens with individual photos as well. Im not sure what im doing wrong or if im not understanding something correctly, so any help would be appreciated thanks.

You can't do this.

It's a UI bug that makes it seem like you can.

Probably GrapheneOS. They are probably using the AOSP file picker, but in this context it should not show "Personal" files as an option.

It would break the isolation provided by profiles. It might be technically possible for GrapheneOS to make it work, but I'm doubtful if they would consider it a good idea.
