It started at the very same moment I was replacing the screen. First sign was rapid drop of charge level and a battey monitoring app showed huge negative current of -10A, later current adjusted - 5 -3A. The weird part is that it keeps working for hours while showing 1%, I also noticed that when charging it in off state the charge level is different(it's actully what I would expect it to be in normal condition) from when it's powered on,. It make me think that battery is not bad, but the os fails to present accurate battery data.
Other than that voltage is above normal range and does not corelate with charge level for example with charge at 39% voltage shows 4.4v.
Device diagnostics says battery is at 100% of original capacity. App manager shows battery capacity different each time, sometimes over 15000, but usually within realistic range around 4000mah, can shoe below 4000. Battery temp is ok rarely above 30° C, device rarely feels warm.
i don't think I damaged the battery in the process, actually quiet sure. Now wondering is the reason in battery itself? Would replacing it fix the issue?
It's really uncomfortable to use the phone with battery charge at 1% not really understanding when is it going to die.
If someone has idea please share, I really need to know if it's worth bothering with battery replacement? Or is it another pixel of garbage and better get a whole new device?
