Nick_Nightmare I just installed Graphene OS on my phone. Randomly now it will restart without me doing anything. A few times it has went to the boot loader screen, but mainly it just powers off and goes to the different is screen pause start page. Has anyone else experienced this and know of a solution.
Novalissoide Nick_Nightmare davin You could check your boot key hashes at first bootscreen, pause and see if it corresponds with this exact line: 55d3c2323db91bb91f20d38d015e85112d038f6b6b5738fe352c1a80dba57023
davin I've come across the same issue last night with the same exact model. Trying to decipher the logs to see what may be causing it. I've read so far it may be a hardware issue. I'll update this discussion if I find anything. I have a second same model phone where that one has been functioning just fine.
davin I've checked mine and the boot key hash is correct. I've wiped and re-installed the OS twice and it still randomly crashes and reboots.
Probably9857 Reinstall the stock OS if possible. If reboots still happen, that suggests a hardware issue. (Or an upstream bug.) If the issue does not occur on stock, that suggests a GrapheneOS bug, and you should submit logs if possible.
Probably9857 Nick_Nightmare I think the recommended method is to get in touch with one of the devs on chat, and they will let you know where to send them.
Probably9857 Nick_Nightmare it did not do this on stock Keep in mind it is at least theoretically possible that you had a hardware failure shortly after installing GrapheneOS. It would be better evidence of a bug if you could reinstall stock and confirm there is no issue. I realize this may be difficult or inconvenient though.
Probably9857 Nick_Nightmare should I redownload everythin I assume you mean for the command-line installer. I have not done that process myself, but I can't imagine why it would be necessary to re-download the image.
davin Well it's been confirmed that my crashes are due to hardware error. I am able to return the phone back as it has a 30 day return policy.
