login problem duolingo

Hello, i cannot log into duolingo, i get the notification that it uses play integrity but doulingo gives an error and to try later.

I gave doulingo all permissions and i even gave play services all permissions, disabled exploit protectiong nothing working.

I am on pixel 10 pro stable

Hold down on app icon > info > scroll down to app compatibility mode > turn on

Andrunow you might have to download an older version just to sign in and then update the app after. Version 6.29.2 (2092) works fine, you can get it from manual download on Aurora store - just enter 2092.

This answer won't solve the problem but try wlingua if you want to learn languages. That app work without any problem but with duolingo I can't help, I don't use it.

FreeFrags22 unrelated question, have you tried Duo and what in your opinion is more effective for learning a language?

Btw, Duolingo works fine in vanadium (and probably with any other web browser).
(Except that speech exercises won't work, this is a knownknoen problem)

Can anyone tell me why the speech is not working?

I have tried a P6a with GOS and a OEM Samsung and both are not working with the Duolingo app installed.

The P6a had Google play service installed.

Yes it works in browser but its shitty, also the app worked couple days ago so something happened

On some one else's phone I noticed they had google speech synthesizer with microphone permission for Duolingo. Duolingo doesnt use microphone permission.

You may need that installed for speech lessons.

Strange that the app needs a google speech synthesizer instead of only the mic permission?

Is there a FOSS alternative on Github maybe that works on GOS?

Some one has to utilize hours, $, and expertise to change spech into text and most apps use the option that exists already on the phone

Duolingo is working on my GOS device in a profile with Google Play Services. No changes needed regarding exploit protection.

As others have mentioned, speaking does not work but I will try the above suggestion about the Google Speech app.

Edit: I have not tested signing out and in.
