I’m planning to buy an unlocked device from either Google or Best Buy…Should I install GO before I sign up for my new carrier? Are there any issues I should anticipate with that?
Since it’s a whole new OS and a whole new carrier, how can I make sure I don’t lose all my contacts and keep my existing phone number. Will they still be able to port my number over?
I was thinking of moving over to T-Mobile or Mint, but was also looking at Visible…wondering if anyone had recommendations for any of those or maybe any other suggestions? There are so many options and pros and cons for each it’s hard to discern what the best option is.
I want to trade in my iPhone but I’ve only ever done it in person and directly through the carrier. If I buy from Google, I want to make sure I can get my phone hooked up and phone number ported over before I ship out my old phone obviously. Can I do that? Or am I better off just buying the Pixel and selling off my iPhone privately?
