"pixel8 and pixel8a. (Both same date firmware)
p8 : GOS settings search : "turn off bluetooth automatically" -> leads to exploit protection.
p8a : GOS settings search : "turn off bluetooth automatically" -> leads to Connected devices/Connection preferences.
I set whatever value that's not "never turn off automatically".
Feature works with earbuds (BT 5.3 LE) (holding onto the BT QS tile to reach the page "Connected devices", the buds are listed under "Media devices").
Feature DOESN'T WORK with google pixel watch 1 (BT 5.0) (listed under "Other devices" within "Connected devices" page !) : after pairing, the connection is lost after 2minutes. (Watches remain on bluetooth ON) GOS system doesn't take into account the connection between phone and watch and turns off BT regardless !
Workaround is :
having to be connected to earbuds as well, all the time user wears the watch. (not convenient)
having to never turn off automatically bluetooth (security risk!)
Can you guys reproduce?"
