Open Street Maps, Organic Maps, OSMAnd often do not provide reliable transport information.
Comaps aims to change that by introducing GTFS, but is still in the works.
In the meantime I'd recommend you checking out Gnome maps, which you can run using the Linux terminal which is a developer feature (but doesn't require developer mode to be on).
How to
Enable Developer mode -> Enable linux terminal -> Disable Developer mode for safety
Install gnome maps and phosh:
sudo apt install phosh
sudo apt install gnome-maps
Run Gnome Maps
dbus-run-session -- phoc -E "bash -c 'squeekboard & gnome-maps'"
(click on the desktop icon)

The borders on the app have annoyed me a bit, I have tried various VNC's, but wasn't able to get the resolution nor responsiveness with them, if anyone figures out how to get a better resolution with the same resolution tell me!
