Looking for alternative to using Facebook Messenger outside the official app

Hi everyone,
I’m looking for a good way to use Facebook Messenger without installing the official Messenger app on Android.
I’ve tried a few options already:
Hermit (Little Apps) — I decided not to use it mainly because of security/privacy concerns
Native Alpha — so far this seems like the only somewhat usable option for me

Since Messenger Lite is discontinued, I’m searching for something lightweight, reasonably secure, and usable just for basic messaging without all the bloat of the official app.
Are there any other alternatives or tools that actually work well today?

Messenger Revanced running in Private Space maybe?

I use https://github.com/nonbili/Nora
Acts as a web browser, so you can access all your chats and send messages. Don't know if it does push notifications though.
