Yes, I ran some games out of curiosity on a Pixel 7a, though the performance was terrible (I ran a few simple indie games).
I used Winlator, and another app whose name I can't remember now which allows direct installation of games from Steam, both worked though Winlator required a lot of tinkering.
I also installed Steam using FEX in the Linux Terminal VM, it installed and opened but I couldn't use the interface and it was very slow and resource intensive.
Performance will probably be a bit better on newer Pixels, but I still don't expect it to be usable on those either.
