GrapheneOS and RAM

Since GrapheneOS removes all of Google's software, including AI, does that mean it'll have full access to all of the RAM on the Pixel devices? Currently, Google reserves some of the RAM for AI, so a Pixel 9 Pro XL with 16GB of RAM will only have about 12/13GB of usable RAM.

I haven't tested anything, but if I had to guess, my answer would simply be "no"
Performance doesn't increase by having more RAM available
Unless performance means being able to occupy more RAM altogether at the same time

ok, seems I'm lacking knowledge about technical background on how Android is working

Despite being fully occupied by the OS or not, my assumption would still be that as long as there is enough RAM available, there wouldn't be any performance issues. Apparently guessing is all I can do here, I don't want to spread any false claims

I just want to add; our favourite desktop OS from Redmond in contrast even tends to slow down if there's too much free RAM available

I just remember throughout my Android usage history, there had always been performance issues, but the moment devices had 4GB RAM, I never experienced any again, only on extremely rare occasions
6GB made me forget that RAM might be an issue at all. But that's just how I felt

On my Pixel 9 Pro XL (16GB of RAM) and apps already installed (mostly apps with a very light footprint that don't run in the background) on average I get around 50% available RAM.
But it does not provide much inside on how or why this amount of RAM is being used. However on my devices with less RAM I also have less free RAM available. (On average my Pixel Tablet with 8GB of RAM has about 40% of RAM available.
Both devices have GrapheneOS installed without Google services.
