Fossify Messages or Any other SMS App - Please help

I do have a larger thread but splitting this off because I have been pulling my hair out for days now (maybe weeks lol)

I love GOS with the exception of the unreliability of SMS messages between profiles. The problem is simple I cant get notifications for new messages in any other profile other than Owner.

I am using Fossify messages downloaded from F-Droid so no reliance on GPS I think so that should not be an issue.

Please help

So I have this working now with the native GOS messaging application but I have experimented with several others and none of them work in the secondary profiles.

If anyone has any advice on how to make this work with Fossify or other messaging apps with more functionality that would be greatly appreciated. I dont need much (not looking for RCS)

Group messages (have had issues with GOS Messages where messages get split up sometimes but not other times)
Pin messages to the top (really helpful when you have a lot of messages and need some contacts on the top)
Report Spam or Block Number
