Hi there!
I have a Pixel 8 running GrapheneOS and got a new router from MirkoTik running RouterOS.
With the new router, the Pixel loses internet connection like once or twice a day. However, the Pixel does not loses wifi connection.
The wifi is configured as follows (but I also tried WAP3 and ax): wpa2-psk, 2.4 GHz n.
When the issue occurs I can whether ping the router, nor e.g. 8.8.8.8 from the Pixel. Also, I can not ping the Pixel from the router.
I used a sniffer on the router wifi interface after the issue occurred to inspect the traffic from and to the Pixel: The Pixel is still sending ARP broadcasts ("Who has <ip-router>? Tell <ip-pixel>") and the router is answering them (which has no effect). When I sent an ARP request from the router to the Pixel, the router got no answer from the Pixel.
Reconnecting to the wifi solves the issue.
For debugging I disconnected any VPN client running on the Pixel.
The Pixel is the only device I own showing this behavior.
Before I got the Mikrotik router I was running a Fritzbox router without observing this behavior. So I am not sure on which side I have to search for solutions.
Has anyone a hint how to proceed? I assume there is no option in GrapheneOS setting a wifi connection to sleep or something?
Thanks!
