New to the community and really enjoying GOS. Thank you to those bulduing this great OS.
There are a couple of things that are bothering me a bit and wanted to see if you know how to resolve it in the case of Signal, and explain if any concern in the case of network notifications.
Signal: have it installed and managing updates via Obtanium (Github). While everything works, I get about 3 notifications per day indicating that Signal Update is available. The notification comes from Signal. Checking both Obtanium and Signal I can see I have the latest version installed.. I cross checked this also with other sources like Signal website and Play Store info.
What could be causing this, and how do I solve it?
Network notification: I have it set to on, and so I get a couple of notifications per day saying my device ID has been disclosed to a network and that this can be normal practice. I assume is the normal behaviour from having a SIM installed with network connectivity, should I just turn the notification off? I suppose it has not much value when I intend to use the phone with SIM in on a daily base (no airplane mode). Is it possible to be notified ONLY for unencrypted networks?
