Non-Owner quit ringing

Over the last week my secondary user account, the phone doesn't ring. I've worked to identify a solution to no avail.
1). it's not dnd, or ringer turned off. It's repeatable, but I can't identify the cause.

2). It works fine for owner, and If I switch between the two, the 2nd account will ring for a short bit, but something triggers it to stop ringing.

3). It is send/receiving calls, just not ringning.

I'm missing calls, if I can't find a quick solution to this, I might have to flip back to android. I hope someone has some insight.

mdcyntst I just tried to replicate this but nothing seems to mirror this behaviour, imo it might just be a system audio software bug or something similar. Try backing up your data and just reinstall GOS, I had some similar bug but with notification sounds and reinstalling the OS fixed it, maybe both of us just tweaked some settings we shouldn't have and triggered this to happen.

AI tells me this is audio handoff issue between the owner and guest accounts. This has been a stable platform for many months, few if any changes. I suspect it has something to do with services going idle and when resuming, not getting the appropriate permissions to the audio. Changing users seems to repair it until "some event" happens to block it. I don't have the tools or environment to even see log messages.

mdcyntst This is the exact reason why I'm suggesting a wipe, I'm not an expert but "that event" is def not there by default, it's something user related. I know it seems like a very primitive solution but as long as it gets the job done I don't see any reason to not do it.

Better yet you should first just try backing up your data to the owner user and just delete the user that has this issue and make a new one, if the problem persists you could just do the reset.
