How to keep certain accounts/apps hidden when travelling with GOS?

Hi, can someone please tell me the best way to hide certain accounts/apps on GOS?

Should I just create a new user account and use that whilst travelling? But couldn't someone simply change the user account back to my main one to see? Is there a way perhaps to disable the relevant apps and also hide them from the installed app list? Or is it simpler to just temporarily uninstall them altogether? Perhaps there's something else I should do instead?

Backup your phone to USB stick. Factory reset your phone and use that as the traveling account.
Return home, factory reset the phone and restore from USB stick....

It rather depends on what you're trying to hide and from whom.
Are you trying to hide your terrorism app while illegally crossing into Iran? Or are you heading to Amsterdam but don't want anyone at the airport to know you're on a gay dating app?

Depending on your needed level of secrecy, you can either hide the app in the launcher, use a private space, or simply uninstall the app and wait until you're over the border before reinstalling it.
