DLdarkme212 It depends on your threat model. If you'll be using the device as your daily driver, installing at home should be fine. There's nothing in the initial setup that is more sensitive than your daily use.
If you are, for example, a journalist working on sensitive topics, then installing at another location such as public wifi would be worth consideration. In such a case I don't know that a friend's house provides meaningful anonymity.
