I run a wifi router called Fritzbox with wifi7. In the household there are many devices including several pre-9 GOS phones. My Pixel 9 is the only device that supports wifi7. All devices run fine except the new Pixel 9.
What happens is that I sometimes loose the IPv4 address when wifi7 is switched on. My phone will have bad internet for a while and finally switch to cellular modem. In the settings it says connected/no internet and I see all the neccessary IPv6 addresses but no IPv4 address/subnet/gateway. I can resolve the issue by typing on the ssid name and it will reconnect quickly. The issue does not occur if I switch off wifi7 on the router.
Am I the only one experiencing this issue? Since I live on a busy street it would be cool to use the alternative frequency. But having a quite reliable wifi6 connection is definitly better than flaky wifi7.
