Hi all!
I've been using my Pixel 10 Pro with GrapheneOS for about 1.5 months and I've been loving it. I am running version 2026011301.
Last night I charged my phone to 80℅ and this morning I woke up with about 30℅.
I quickly checked battery usage (I know it's not very accurate, but still) and found out that the camera (from Battery > Battery usage > View by systems) drained 43℅ of the battery for about 7 hours of usage.
Absolutely NO app has camera permission except the stock camera, phone and messaging apps, and it's only allowed while they're in use. All other apps need to ask permission every time.
I force-stopped the camera app and revoked its background permissions just in case, and then rebooted my phone.
This only happened two times so far and looks completely random but it's still quite a bit concerning.
I don't know if this could be related, but I made a WhatsApp video call some hours before going to sleep, so maybe it could be some bug with it? From Battery > Battery usage > View by apps I see that it used 16℅ of the battery with a background usage of 18 hours.
I have no idea what the issue could be. Any ideas?
