This never happened to me until a few days ago, but when it started it was intense. Pop-ups, like the kind which try to convince you to buy malware prevention apps or random ones that have no way to close out of them suddenly bombarded my phone, no matter what app I had running. It took me a while to narrow down that having Brave either open in main or in the background was the culprit. I uninstalled, reinstalled, and the problem appears to be fixed for now. This was a frequent problem prior to switching to Graphene, but I never clocked it as being Brave specific.
Has anyone else experienced this? I'm assuming there's no malware on the phone, but I'm not sure how I would tell as I can't find a scanning app that works without Google Play Services.
