[Feature Request] Choice for Automatic Updates

I'm not sure if this kind of post already exists, or if a solution is currently available.

I wanted to request a feature - allow for a choice on when to download and install system updates.

The reason I'm requesting this is because when I connect to wifi, my phone automatically starts the system updates. I need the updates to be done later, I have things to do on my phone.

The built-in settings serve me well:

Permitted networks [Unmetered]
-- You can reconfigure your Wi-Fi network as metered.
Require battery above warning level [ON]
Require device to be charging [ON]
-- I don't use my device when charging
Automatic reboot [OFF]
-- I manually restart to apply updates at convenient time

What is your use case?

I only had the cellular network marked as metered.

I did not know you could change the wifi to be metered.

I was able to look up how to change it, and have done so.

I will try this setting and see how it works. Thanks for sharing!
