I am experiencing a loop during the face verification step in both PalmPay and OPay. I can enter my phone number and OTP successfully, but once the camera opens for the face scan:
The scan appears to complete.
The app immediately reverts to the "Tap to scan face" button without any error message or progress.
Tapping again just repeats the cycle indefinitely.
What I’ve already tried:
Enabled Exploit Protection Compatibility Mode for both apps.
Granted all requested permissions (Camera, Location, etc.).
Installed Android System Intelligence and Device Configuration (as seen in my previous setup).
Cleared storage/cache and reinstalled.
Does anyone know if these apps require Native Code Debugging to be enabled, or if there is a specific sensor permission I need to toggle to allow the biometric data to pass from the camera to the app's verification server?
