I have the issue that the system-wide default notification sound I set is not inherited by any other app. As in, the sound I set under "Setting > Sound and vibration > Sound patterns > Default notification sound" is not being used by e.g. signal when I get a new message, even though I configured it to use the default sound. When I go into signal's app notification configuration and set a channels sound to "Default notification sound", it even previews this wrong sound and does not play the system wide one I have set myself. I think it's the "default default" notification sound after a fresh install.
I have tested this behaviour in multiple apps, and it's the same in all of them.
I can manually set every app's notification sound to the intended one and it works, but doing that for all apps and all their different types of notification channels gets tedious fast.
I haven't found any mention of this specific issue in the forum or the issue tracker - ironically enough, it was mainly the exact opposite, where the app specific sounds get overridden by the default one (which seems to have already been fixed).
Has anybody else experienced the same issue?
