Bumhi short answer is no, because GOS is improving so much on your security, privacy and agency (even with sandboxed play services and all the invasive apps installed) over stock Android or iOS. Also I recommend every new GOS user to keep everything at the default settings and use sandboxed play store in the beginning. It makes the change easier and reduces any friction. You can then adapt step by step until you achieved your perfect setup according to your threat model. Take it slow, it will be more sustainable like this.
That being said, don't listen or trust me or anyone on the internet. Do some research and decide what you need and want to do. This article from GOS enthusiasts might help you finding a better answer for yourself. From what you write about your situation, I guess your next step could be to use the private space in your owner profile for the nasty apps, but that's all up to you.
Oh and welcome to the community, have fun with GOS and being back in charge of your data.
