I've recently (within the month) switched from an iPhone to a graphene Pixel 9a.
The issue that I've been having is that I cannot send or receive video's through texting at all. I've tried switching to the application QUIK SMS as most queries online for my problem pointed me in this direction, but to no avail.
Text messages and images work just fine, but when I try so send a video, even one that's only a few seconds long, I get a "The message to name failed to send" notification immediately after pressing the send button. I'm not sure of the technical terms admittedly, but it doesn't even seem like the video is reaching the internet before the app shoots it down, but I digress...
I've fooled around in the application permissions for quite a while with nothing changing.
Sending videos worked just fine on iPhone. I'm still using the same SIM card, so i'm not sure if the change is an infrastructure thing, an Internet service provider thing, or something else entirely.
My friends and I use Signal which works great for all my personal needs, but the job I work will likely require me to send pictures and possibly videos to superiors and coworkers. In that case, recruiting everyone to Signal (or a similar app) really isn't an option, along with the fact that it's just generally nice to be able to send and receive videos on my device's main texting app(s).
I'd be GREATLY appreciative to any insight that anybody at all has to this issue.
