storing passkeys in Google password manager fails

For some reason, when trying to add a passkey to the Google password manager on GrapheneOS, it won't accept biometrics and will ask for my device pin.
But even after entering the correct pin, it doesn't accept it and shows this message again:

Maybe this is a bug specific to passkeys with the prf extension, but I am not sure.

You can use Proton Pass for Confer. (Probably Bitwarden as well, but I haven't checked).

Same on pixel 7a, trying to create a passkey for paypal but got this error.

Bitwarden works great for passkeys.

Creating passkeys inside the Private Space has not been successful though.
