I asked a vendor on Swappa if the pixel 9 he listed as unlocked would work with GOS. This is his reply:

Hello, We can verify that the phone is unlocked. However we are unfamiliar with the graphene os operation system. We guarantee that the phone is unlocked !!
What would I want to ask him to find out if it WILL in fact work w Grapheme?

If OEM unlocking is enabled, an unlocked phone carrier wise does NOT mean its compatible with GOS

If the device will OEM-unlock, and is otherwise working, and the IMEI is not on the carrier block list, that should be fine.
