Google pay alternative?

Hello everyone, I am a new GrapheneOS user and have been loving the move away from google.

but I really find it difficult to not have Google pay as an option anymore. I have looked around but wasn't able to find any alternative on GitHub. My bank app does not support NFC tap to pay.

please let me know, if you have any recommendations.

I am using a Bank that has their own nfc payment app instead of using google pay.

I cant really recommend you a specific bank as i dont know in which country you are living.

the other option is just use your card to pay or use cash :-)

Curve Pay works in Europe, but generally, you do need a financial institution to be able to use the financial infrastructure of NFC payments (so if not Curve Pay, then a bank that has an app supporting NFC payments, and most banks prefer to rely on Google Pay/Apple Pay/Samsung Pay infrastructure that we can't use).

Alternatively, get a used Garmin smartwatch with NFC payments and use GarminPay :-)
