Would the stock pixel os apps share data with Google through play services?

I'm tempted to use the stock pixel os apps (clock, calculator, contacts, etc) because I like the material you theming of them.

They will collect data, that is not the question. I have play services installed, so even if I deny them the network permission, would they share the data with play services and that way have the data shared?

To my understanding, apps can share data with each other with mutual consent even through the sandboxing, so Google apps probably do that?

100% yes Google uses IPC to communicate between apps. IPC is a big part of Android and Google uses it to help make user experience better. One example is push notifications use IPC.

So I'm assuming your real question is whether Google uses IPC to circumvent network blocks? Maybe. We can't know the answer to that question for sure since the apps you mentioned are closed source.

Feel free to use those apps if you'd like. Just be aware of permissions you grant them. The Google apps you mentioned aren't installed with system-level privileged access so the only data they can get from you is the data you grant them access to.
