Signal messenger only gives one notifications why?

Yeah so i will get the first notification if someone messages me when i'm not hearing the notification after that if they are sending multiple notifications, why is this .... like if my friend messages me and says hi i will hear that one but if they continue to send messages i'm not hearing those ones i only hear the first notification tone.

Also does it matter if i install signal messenger through google play store or aurora store or from the website?

AngWay This isn't an issue with signal, but a feature of AOSP called Notification Cooldown found in Settings > Notifications > Notification cooldown just toggle OFF and you should hear a sound for each notification. Unfortunately this is an all or nothing feature rather than a one you can change per app/notification.

It's not clear what you are asking.

If you asking whether installing Signal from different sources will affect the Notification sounds and/or cooldown, the answer is no. However you may have delayed notifications depending on whether you are using Google Play Services or Websocket/Unified-Push for delivery of notifications.
