Privacy wise and on payment I'd say Mullvad is clearly the better solution.
They offer crypto payment next to letter which Proton till today not complies.
Also very user friendly and feasible by a teenager tbh. Wireguard Configs. can be done in a minute. So I don't really understand what is all mentioned in this thread. Maybe years ago it wasn't exactly this way but nowadays I can't agree for some comments.
