What do I do about my other Android Device?

I'm now fully onboard with Graphene, and am trying to get others to install it too. However, I also have a Samsung Galaxy Tablet 10 Fe+ that I want to fully de-google and secure. I know Graphene won't work, but is there a way to de-google it while I wait for a new Graphene-compatible Pixel tablet?

I know this is fairly offtopic, but I would rather ask you guys and get a proper answer vs going to ask an OS maker and getting a sales pitch. At the moment I'm leaning toward LineageOS as I found the /e/ community painfully toxic.

Probably a good choice if 'de-googling' is your main objective and it is a nice OS, but not if security is your main goal.

Have you considered trading in or selling your existing Samsung tablet to get cash towards a 2nd hand pixel tablet? Then you could install GOS on the pixel tablet

There is not going to be a new GrapheneOS Pixel tablet but there is already a current one which you can buy right now (supported until June 2028). I use mine as my daily use at home device and am very happy with it.

Who knows if the new, and as yet, unnamed OEM supplier currently working with the GOS developers will produce a compatible tablet? I hope so

GraphPaper I have thought about it, but I assumed it was a really early tablet. I do basically just want it to be a drawing and writing pad with a detachable keyboard - so the main selling point would be how good it is as a impromptu work laptop. Not a games system, but it does have to be good at those things & be able to run a few apps.

The other thing that stopped me was I've also been leery as it isn't water resistant at all. That's a big danger sign for me as that is the thing that tends to kill my most expensive tech.

tux_ Apparently yes it is with the stock OS but I do not know if one would work with GrapheneOS installed
